Program Title National Certificate: Occupational Certificate Diesel Mechanic Level 4
The purpose of this qualification is to equip a learner with knowledge and skills to operate as a professional Diesel and Mechanic. A qualified learner will be able to:
Perform preventative and scheduled maintenance on motor vehicles.
Dismantle, inspect, assess, repair and assemble motor vehicle engines.
Diagnose and repair faults in motor vehicle engine and vehicle systems and their components.
ENTRANCE REQUIREMENTS FOR DIESEL MECHANIC:
To apply for this Occupational Certificate course, students need to be in possession of a NQF Level 1 or higher with a 50% pass in Mathematics and not Mathematical Literacy.
